(1) Refund/exchange/credit only
within 7 days, in resellable condition. 25% restocking fee
on returned/exchanged/credit items. PC Bits n Bytes reserves
the right to “test” any system/component to ensure its
proper, working condition, which may take up to 7 days for a
through test. This may delay any refund/exchange/credit.
Deposits are non-refundable. The customer must have original
receipt and packaging for a
refund/exchange/replacement/credit. There are no
refunds/exchanges/replacement/credit on opened printer
cartridges/CD/CDRW/DVD/diskette/software/oem media, memory
modules (ram), cpu, motherboard. PC Bits n Bytes reserves
the right to refuse any refund/exchange/replacement/credit
at its discretion. There are no refund/exchange/credit on
Used/Rebuilt Systems and parts PC Bits n Bytes reserves the
right to refuse any refund/exchange/replacement/credit at
its discretion.
(2) Deposits must be 25% minimum
of TOTAL cost, or minimum of parts/software needed to
purchase if not in stock, whichever is greater. Any deposit
applied to a “Quote” will only guarantee a “TOTAL” cost for
3 days. Quote price may change without notice after the 3
days to comply with the “Computer Market Prices” (see terms
#5, #6, #8).
(3)
Additional charges may be applied for installing
“customer-owned” components into a purchased system from
PC Bits n Bytes.
(4)
All prices are in Canadian currency. PST & GST are extra
unless specified in writing within a contract/agreement.
Installation and delivery is not included in any
“component” or “system” price, unless specified in
writing within a contract/agreement.
(5)
It is the customer’s responsibility to reimburse PC Bits n
Bytes for any “unexpected” charges incurring from the
servicing, repairing, purchasing, etc. including taxes,
shipping charges, administration charges, travel charges,
etc.
(6) All hardwareand software
remains the property of PC Bits n Bytes until paid in full,
or after 30 days from the date of the contract/agreement,
including deposits. Unless Deposits are made through a
“Lay-Away Plan”, then it shall follow the “Lay-Away Plan”
agreement.
(7)
It is the customer’s responsibility to back up all files
before work is done on their system. PC Bits n Bytes is not
responsible for ANY data loss.
(8)
Due to the “Computer Market Prices”, Quotes without a
deposit are valid for 1 days from the date of the
contract/agreement. After the 1 days, a new
contract/agreement may be required.
(9)
Any services, pricing, delivery “implied” or
“expressed” is not valid unless in writing.
(10) Free inspections on any
system(s)/component(s)/software up to 2 hours ONLY when PC
Bits n Bytes performs the repair(s)/service(s). A charge
will occur from the inspection if there is no immediate
repair(s)/service(s).
(11) Hourly Home Service(s)
requiring payment, $50 per hour. Hourly depot service(s)
requiring payment, $30 per hour.

Email support is supplied acTelephone support can be charged
by PC Bits n Bytes once the customer has been informed.
Telephone support is charged at a rate of $20 per hour, with
a minimum charge of $10. Customers will be billed and may
send a check or money order for payment or the customer may
arrange a delivery of payment. Payments must be received
within one week of the "Telephone support" or may have late
charges applied at a rate of 2% of the total amount every 7
days. Charges do not guarantee satisfactory repair/service.

to any email support, nor promise for a quick reply.

Telephone support can be charged by PC Bits n Bytes once the
customer has been informed. Telephone support is charged at
a rate of $20 per hour, with a minimum charge of $10.

for payment or the customer may arrange a delivery of

"Telephone support" or may have late charges applied at a

Delivery charges of any "Speciality Product" for a
system/component/software purchased from PC Bits n Bytes is
$15. This charge is per delivery, with no limit to the
number of any system/component/software purchased. Unless
specified in writing within a contract/agreement.
(15)
Travel Charges of systems for service are $15, which
includes pick-up and drop-off. Payment must be made before
the system is returned to the customer. If payment is not
made before returning the system, then the system will be
noted as the property of PC Bits n Bytes (see term #6). An
additional Travel Charge may be included for “unsuccessful”
deliveries. Charges do not guarantee satisfactory repair(s)/service(s).
(16)
All licenses/registrations required is the customer’s
responsibility to obtain. PC Bits n Bytes does not “sell”
or “give” licenses or registrations unless bundled with
software purchased or oem media purchased through packaging
or system purchases.
(17) PC Bits n Bytes reserves the right to cancel any or all
contracts or agreements at any time and may withhold any
monies to reimburse for any loss of expenses or profit
occurred since the initial contract or agreement was
entered.
(18) We accept Cash, Money
Orders, Certified Checks, Personal Checks, Debit. Currently
PC Bits n Bytes is unable to accept any form of Credit Card
payment during a "Home Service". Personal Checks may take up
to 5 business days before clearing, during which time, any
product purchased will not be available until funds are
authorized. There is a $25 charge per unsuccessful attempt
of "authorizing" and receiving monies of a Personal Check.
There is a $30 charge per N.S.F. notice of Personal Checks.
(19)
Any unpaid balance 7 days from the date of the
contract/agreement will be charged a 3% late fee every 7
days from the balance until paid in full, unless specified
in writing. This also includes
Personal Checks. It is the customer's responsibility to
ensure the Personal Check will be authorized within the 7
days.
